# Export a conversation

> Download a WhatsApp, Instagram or Messenger chat history as text or PDF, with the last 50, 200 or 500 messages or the whole conversation.

**To export a conversation, open the chat panel, click Export and pick the format — Text or PDF — and how many messages to include: the last 50, 200, 500 or all of them.** The file downloads right away with the history of messages from the customer, the agent and your team. Use it to share a case, keep a backup or attach it to a file.

### Open the chat panel
    In the conversation, open the details panel and click **Export**.
### Pick format and range
    In **Export conversation**, pick the format (text or PDF) and the messages: the last 50, 200,
    500 or all.
### Download

## What it includes and what it doesn't

- Messages from the customer, the AI agent and your team, with date and time.
- Photos, audio and documents appear as a link, not inside the file.
- [Internal notes](/chats/notes-and-tasks) are **not** included.
- The document is generated in Spanish.

If the conversation is longer, the file says it was truncated. You can export up to 10 times per minute.
