# Internal notes and tasks

> Leave internal notes only your team sees, create private tasks with reminders, and review what watsi recorded on its own after an advisor closed an agreement with the customer.

**In every chat you can leave internal notes that only your team sees and create tasks with a date and time that remind you to follow up; the contact receives none of it.** watsi also turns a commitment you write in a note ("I'll call tomorrow") into a task and, after an advisor agrees something with the customer, records the appointment, tasks and stage on its own for you to review.

## Internal notes

Open **More actions** in the composer and choose **Add internal note**. The note appears in the conversation labelled **Internal note** and also in the **Notes** tab of the chat panel.

  Internal notes are not sent to the contact and are not included when you [export the
  conversation](/chats/export).

## Tasks

### Open Tasks
    In the chat header, click **Tasks**. They're only for you: the contact receives nothing.
### Create the task
    Fill in **Task** (for example, "Call Oliver"), **Date and time** and, optionally, notes. Under
    **Assignee**, keep it for yourself or assign it to someone else.
### Get the reminder
    We remind you 10 minutes before and at the time. If it's still pending, you get another reminder
    the next morning. If you assigned it to someone else, the reminder goes to them.

When you finish, mark it done; reopen it if needed.

### Tasks from a note

If you write a commitment with a date in an internal note, watsi creates the task on its own and shows **Task created** with an undo option. If the time is vague ("tomorrow morning"), it uses a sensible hour; if there's no time, it asks you when.

## What watsi records after an agreement

A few minutes after an advisor writes to the customer, watsi reads the conversation and records what was agreed: an **Appointment**, a **Task** or a **Stage** change. You'll see it in the **I registered what you agreed** card, with an undo option on each item. Nothing is sent to the contact.

> **Warning**
  If you undo an appointment recorded this way, it's cancelled without notifying the contact.
