Your AI agent

The agent's Memory (knowledge documents)

Upload PDF, DOCX, TXT, MD or CSV documents of up to 10 MB so your AI agent answers with your real estate agency's actual information.

🧠 Memory holds the documents your agent reads to answer: price lists, development fact sheets, financing requirements, reservation policies. You upload PDF, DOCX, TXT, MD or CSV files up to 10 MB, watsi processes them and the agent searches them for the answer to each question. The agent never sends these files to the customer; that is what Resources are for.

Upload documents

  1. 1

    Open "🧠 Memory"

In your agent's settings, inside the 📚 Knowledge group.
  2. 2

    Click "Add files"

Your computer's file picker opens; you can choose several at once.

  3. 3

    Wait until they are "Ready"

Each file uploads right away and shows its status: "Processing...", "Ready" or "Processing failed".

Memory files upload as soon as you choose them: you don't need to save a version for the agent to use them.

If a file stays at "Processing failed", use "Re-upload file". You can also open it ("Open file") or delete it ("Delete file").

Tips

  • One topic per document. One PDF per development or per policy works better than a single file with everything.
  • Keep prices current. If a document has old prices, the agent may quote them; delete it and upload the new one.
  • For questions that keep coming up, add a Q&A: the exact answer you want it to give.
  • For prices and availability, use Products or Properties instead of a PDF.

Frequently asked questions

Which files can I upload to the agent's Memory?

PDF, DOCX, TXT, MD and CSV, up to 10 MB each.

How long until the agent uses a new document?

Each file uploads as soon as you choose it and shows "Processing...". Once it changes to "Ready", the agent can use it.

What is the difference between Memory and Resources?

Memory is what the agent reads to answer; it never sends those files to the customer. Resources are files the agent does send to the customer in the chat.
